B. B. Creations makes everything from scratch and uses as many local items as possible. Our local vendors include: Simply Pure Sweets, The Hamery, Springer Mountain Farms, Black Hawk Farms, Weisenberg Mills, and wild caught USA seafood.
Chef Robert "Bob" Burford was born in central Michigan, Bob got his love for cooking from his Oma (grandmother in German). Bob's Oma was his mother’s mom and was always cooking when he was a child. She cooked traditional German food such as spätzle, wiener schnitzel, braised red cabbage, beef tongue, blood wurst, and liverwurst. Eventually Bob moved to Las Vegas and spent many years there working various jobs, then realizing he wanted to pursue his love for cooking professionally. In 2010, he enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts where he earned an Associates degree in Applied Science and began his classically trained cooking career. After graduation, Bob moved to Chicago and studied under a chef before moving to Murfreesboro. He's been cooking here since then. After managing a few kitchens in Murfreesboro, Bob decided it was time to start putting his personal culinary art to use by opening B. B. Creations on April 11, 2021.
Jill & Bob were married in July 2019. When Jill is not assisting Bob, she is a nail technician at What’s New the Salon and has worked there for almost two decades. She was born in North Carolina, raised in Middle Tennessee and attended MTSU.
